BLACKHOLES!

Seriously though, either you got:
A: Co---rr....UPti...ons......
B: Not "mad dog" enough access on ur PC.
C: It's coz your using the Windows partition.
(My win7 is K:\ (since XP is on C:\) but my Steam folder is D:\ (no that's not an emoticon))

RE: wiremod/tortise svn
i dont think there should be any corruptions. im pretty sure i let have enough access. and i dont have a partition. also does having windows security essentials do anything, tortoise mod wise.

RE: wiremod/tortise svn
you should totally partition it up. about 40gig for Windows...

it shouldn't cause problems but then again, I don't think I even have it active..

also, I SERIOUSLY hope you disabled the fucking UAC.
It likes to slow shit down and could cause corruptions if your getting piece Z when you think your getting piece N

RE: wiremod/tortise svn
okay, navigate yourself to:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\a_nice_guy\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons\wiremodCO\wire\lua\entities\
and delete the folder named :
"gmod_wire_emarker"

Then rerun the update. If that fails you need to escalate your privileges son. That or your hdd will EXPLODE (but then you'll have more pressing problems at hand)

RE: wiremod/tortise svn
oh yea...probably should have also suggested complete svn wipe...

I also recommend svn downloading it to a seperate location (outside of steam) and then pasting it into gmod/addons after. It shouldn't effect anything but everyone says that about 'turning-it-off-n-on-again'.

I got my SVNs in G:\Half-Life\GMod\Addons\!!SVNS\various svn folder names

RE: wiremod/tortise svn
a "wipe" is a very simple process:
1. Highlight what you want removed
2. Shift-Delete (this bypasses the recycle bin. be motherfucking careful!)
3. SVN that shit again
4. ?????
5. PROFIT

RE: wiremod/tortise svn
the regular process is you make a folder called wiremodCO, which svn fills with three folders.
after the svn process is complete, you move (ie cut) those folders from the wiremodCO folder, to the addons folder. /garrysmod/garrysmod/addons/
in your case - you want to delete those files that tortoise svn claims are corrupted - and repeat the svn checkout process.

That's what the wire people tell you to call it
http://www.wiremod.com/forum/technical-s...guide.html

Pretty sure it stands for Cunt Organiser.
